Patti's story
How Patti came to this work
Patti’s love for this work started long before her degrees. In her early twenties, she grew endlessly curious about how people make meaning and change — in body, mind, and spirit. She has been reading, studying, and practicing ever since.
In college, Patti was a competitive athlete who struggled with binging and purging behaviors. As a springboard diver, she saw the same struggle touch many women in sports. The first counselor she asked for help turned her away, but she knew those behaviors were not who she was. Through years of therapy and study, she freed herself from those behaviors. Along the way, she found the work she loves.
That experience shapes how she practices today: no labels, no judgment, real collaboration. Before becoming a therapist, Patti ran her own health and life coaching business and worked in corporate wellness. She also helped women start and develop their direct selling businesses. She has a knack for finding strengths in what people see as weaknesses.
